After two weeks of revealing the Top 20 organisations across ten key industry categories, we’ve now reached the most prestigious shortlist of them all: the Top 20 Overall Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2025.
This list reflects the ultimate employer branding benchmark in the global sports industry. These are the organisations that professionals from around the world - across all disciplines - would most like to work for, regardless of category. To be featured here means standing out not just within a niche, but across the entire landscape of sport.
The final rankings will be revealed on May 8th, during the iWorkinSport Awards Ceremony at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, part of the iWorkinSport Convention & Job Fair.
This year’s Overall Top 20 includes a diverse mix of sport organisations - but it also highlights the ongoing dominance of football as an employer brand. The list features seven football clubs, followed by four governing bodies, three leagues, two sporting goods brands, two sports marketing agencies, one sports team, and one sponsor. Together, they represent the full spectrum of career aspirations in the global sports industry.
As with all categories, the list is based on the global iWorkinSport survey, which asked professionals working (or aspiring to work) in sport: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”
Respondents voted in ten distinct categories and then selected one single organisation as their “Employer of their Dreams.” The organisations most frequently named in that final selection form the Top 20 Overall.
