To round out the week we are announcing the Top 20 Sports Tech Companies, the latest category from the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers in Sport Survey results.
Sports technology companies are becoming vital players in the sports industry, driving the development of innovative technologies that enhance fan engagement and excitement. Central to their operations is data, which underpins all technological advancements. This year, prominent data-driven firms like Genius Sports, Sportradar, and Stats Perform are included in the Top 20 list.. Additionally, fitness technology, trackers, and wearables are making significant strides. These devices cater not only to fitness enthusiasts aiming to elevate their workout routines but also to top athletes striving for competitive advantages. Leading companies in this sector, such as Fitbit, Freeletics, Strava, and Zwift, are all found on the list. Another key focus is the production and distribution of sports video content. The Top 20 Sports Tech Companies list features DAZN, OneFootball, and WSC Sports, which are reshaping how sports are viewed globally. Technologies like Hawk-Eye, which offers precise computer vision in various sports, and the blockchain-based engagement platform Socios.com, are also featured for their innovative approaches to sports technology. Check out the full list below.
The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”
At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.
The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.
