Today we announce the Top 20 Sporting Goods Brands, as determined by the Most Attractive Employers in Sport Survey 2024.
This year’s Top 20 Sporting Goods Brands include massive global conglomerates outfitting the full range of athletes from professional down to recreation across a wide variety of sports. To no surprise, both Nike and Adidas, who have consistently held the two top spots for global market share and revenue among sporting goods brands, appear on the list. Reebok, New Balance, Puma and Asics - each with expanding businesses taking on new sports - appear on the list. Specialized outdoor sporting goods companies Columbia, Patagonia, and The North Face are all repeats from last year. Mammut, another outdoor sporting goods company, appears on the list for the first time. Swiss running shoe brand ON, also experiencing hyper-growth and exploration into new sports, re-appears on the list. Check out the full list below.
The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”
At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.
The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.

The survey was conducted from 16 January to 17 March 2023 and counted 1,619 respondents, from 101 nationalities, living in 83 countries, with 84% having at least a bachelor degree and 52% with postgraduate education, while 87% already work in sport. Detailed demographics data will be available in the report.
