Top 20 Sports Teams – The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2025

The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2025 series continues, and today we unveil the shortlist in the Sports Teams category - one that saw significant changes this year.

Unlike previous editions, where sports teams from the USA were grouped in their own category, the 2025 survey redistributed those clubs into other lists. Major League Soccer teams were included in the Football Clubs category, while teams from the NBA, NFL, MLB and other American pro leagues were placed under Sports Teams.

The impact? A major reshuffling of the list, with 10 teams from the USA now featured in this Top 20 - highlighting the enduring global appeal and brand power of North American franchises across basketball, American football, and baseball.

The full rankings will be revealed on May 8th, during the iWorkinSport Awards Ceremony at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, as part of the iWorkinSport Convention & Job Fair.

The shortlist is based on the annual global study conducted by iWorkinSport, which asked professionals around the world: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”

Participants selected their top choices in 10 categories, and eventually named one overall “Employer of their Dreams.”

In the Sports Teams category, the Top 20 most voted teams, in alphabetical order, are:
