Top 10 Sports Teams - The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2024

To wrap up the week we are announcing the Top 10 Sports Teams, the latest awards category from the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2024 survey. Note that for the purpose of the ranlings, the Sports Teams category excludes football teams, and teams from the professional North American leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS). Those are two separate categories in our rankings.

Six of the nine F1 teams that made the Top 20 list are also included in the Top 10 list, cementing the sport as a clear favourite among sports team employers. The teams include Aston Martin, Ferrari, Kick Sauber (formerly Alfa Romeo), McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull Racing. Two other automobile sports teams - McLaren Formula E and Red Bull Moto GP - also made the Top 10. Basketball teams FC Barcelona and Real Madrid round out the Top 10. Check out the full list below.

The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”

At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.

The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.
