We are seeking a Streaming Scheduling & Operations Lead to manage the live transmission of over 4,000 games per year on our OTT platform. This role ensures seamless broadcasts through efficient scheduling, automation, and issue resolution, driving reliability and quality in live streaming.

Responsibilities

Scheduling:

• Maintain and improve the comprehensive schedule for all live transmissions.
• Ensure each transmission includes all necessary information for the broadcast operations team.
• Coordinate with feed providers or host broadcasters, when necessary, to align transmission times with event schedules.
• Ensure schedule updates are promptly communicated and accessible to all relevant teams.

Workflow Management:

• Review, improve and implement scalable and automated workflows for live content delivery.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance operational workflows for increased efficiency, reliability and video quality.

Issue Resolution:

• Conduct weekly reviews of operational issues and compile detailed reports.
• Analyse root causes of issues and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize operational performance.
• During working hours, if needed, provide real-time support during critical live transmissions to help resolve issues promptly.

Sports Data Platform Management :

• Responsible for the maintenance, integrations, development and operations of the sports data platform.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in OTT operations, broadcast scheduling, or live streaming.
• Strong understanding of live sports broadcasting and event scheduling.
• Proficiency with streaming technologies, delivery protocols.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and digital tools with the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English. Italian, French and Portuguese (Brazil) are a plus
