MXGP DIGITAL CONTENT AND MEDIA COORDINATOR
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and highly organized individual to join our team as an MXGP Digital Content and Media Coordinator. This role involves managing and creating engaging content for MXGP platforms during the off-season and race weekends, ensuring high-quality visuals, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and innovative storytelling to captivate fans worldwide.
This position will prioritize managing social media platforms, specifically Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with sporadic use of Facebook and X (Twitter). Additionally, a critical focus will be on capturing video and photo content throughout the season to provide dynamic and engaging media for fans.
Be physically present at each event from Thursday to Monday (on a normal Grand Prix schedule).
Core Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Social Media Management:
- Prioritise managing Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts with engaging and timely content.
- Capture high-quality videos and photos throughout the season, focusing on behind-the-scenes moments and live race action.
- Organize and execute a detailed social media plan to ensure MXGP remains at the forefront of motocross news (keep searching for latest trends etc)
- Create and share important milestones, graphics, statistics, and highlights during events.
Event Coverage:
- Be present at every event from Thursday to Monday (on a normal Grand Prix schedule).
- Showcase behind-the-scenes activities, including paddock life, rider preparations, and media events.
- Publish real-time updates such as MXGP results on Facebook and X during events.
- Work within the Media team.
YouTube Management:
- Handle some YouTube back-office tasks, including video uploads, copywriting, and cover designs.
- Publish race highlights, interviews and other engaging content.
Media Support:
- Support the Media Manager during press events, the Paddock Show, and all Grand Prix-related activities.
- Assist when required with podium coordination and Media events. Support the organization and execution of media events during GPs (be present at Media events during the GP weekend).
Miscellaneous:
- Collaborate on the MXGP Magazine by creating content, including podcasts.
- Generate monthly and annual social media reports, tracking growth and engagement across platforms.
- Assist with media accreditation and Media Center management during events, ensuring smooth operations for the Media (journalists/photographers/TVs) and other stakeholders.
- Assist with media accreditation processes on-site.
Others Tasks:
Website Updates:
- Update MXGP.com with riders, venues, and teams.
Graphic Design:
- Being able to create basic materials as needed (poster frames, milestone graphics, statistics, etc.).
Social Media Features:
- Develop and schedule recurring content
Key Objectives:
Visibility:
- Highlight teams, riders and brand partners.
- Including smaller teams and privateers by creating engaging content that showcases their sponsors and efforts.
- Increase exposure for European and WMX riders through creative content strategies.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with brands, sponsors, and partners to produce high-quality content.
- Collaborate with local organizers to ensure social media posts align with MXGP’s standards.
- Creativity:
- Develop innovative ideas, leveraging trends and fan interests.
- Produce engaging behind-the-scenes content to provide unique insights into the sport.
- Fan Engagement:
- Focus on capturing moments fans cannot see live, such as paddock activities and rider preparations.
- Use dynamic visuals, catchy music, and timely posts to enhance fan experience.
- Professionalism:
- Maintain high standards for content quality and ensure alignment with MXGP’s branding.
- Stay updated on best practices in digital media and social content trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in digital content creation and social media management.
- Passion for motorsports and a deep understanding of the motocross community.
- Basic proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Being able to work within a team and respect deadlines.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, YouTube Studio.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
