Meent is supporting the French Tennis Federation (FFT) in recruiting its Integrity Delegate for a permanent position.
The FFT is an officially recognized sports federation. In line with current legislation and its statutes, it oversees and manages professional tennis activities in France. Entrusted with a ministerial delegation, the FFT promotes, organizes, and develops tennis throughout the country, unites and supports affiliated clubs, and coordinates their activities. Additionally, the FFT represents France on the international stage through events such as the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, and the Olympic Games, while also organizing major tournaments.
As the official organizer of Roland-Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters, the FFT holds all associated exploitation rights.
Role
The French Tennis Federation is seeking an Integrity Delegate to provide support across its integrity-related activities.
Missions & Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management
- Supervise and inspire a team of collaborators (small or extended teams).
- Oversee work organization, ensuring optimal task allocation and clear responsibility distribution.
- Drive individual and collective performance by setting SMART goals, conducting annual appraisals, and providing continuous feedback.
- Foster professional growth and skill development within the team.
- Cultivate engagement and motivation by creating a positive work environment, recognizing achievements, and encouraging teamwork.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, including HR rules, time management, and corporate protocols.
- Actively contribute to risk prevention and employee well-being initiatives.
Integrity Unit Leadership and Coordination
- Implement FFT policies against sexual violence, doping, and sports corruption.
- Coordinate the Integrity Unit’s prevention and control efforts in these areas.
- Propose new integrity initiatives and communication strategies to promote the Unit’s activities and expand its reach.
- Anticipate potential pre-litigation risks, provide guidance, and manage crisis situations related to integrity issues.
- Develop and oversee the "sports integrity" budget.
- Negotiate and draft contracts with external partners or associations collaborating with the Integrity Unit.
Key Focus Areas
Combatting Sexual Violence
- Supervise and monitor reports of sexual violence handled by the Integrity Unit.
- Design and implement awareness campaigns targeting the federation's ecosystem.
- Organize preventive actions, including workshops, training sessions, and partnerships.
Fighting Sports Corruption
- Manage consultations for betting rights on FFT-organized competitions.
- Handle reports of sports corruption.
- Design anti-cyberbullying campaigns and implement preventive measures.
Anti-Doping Efforts
- Roll out FFT’s anti-doping prevention plan.
Prevention and Awareness Raising
- Develop specific training programs on integrity topics such as competition manipulation, doping, and sexual violence.
- Strengthen and animate the network of integrity representatives across territories.
Regulatory and Legal Monitoring
- Stay informed about legislative changes related to sports integrity.
- Anticipate integrity-related challenges within the federation and advise stakeholders accordingly.
- Contribute to public or private sector discussions on sports integrity issues when needed.
Collaboration with Sports Authorities
- Liaise with FFT governance, including elected officials responsible for sports integrity, and other internal departments.
- Coordinate partnerships with associations, ensuring proper implementation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with national and international bodies (French Anti-Doping Agency, National Gaming Authority, Ministry of Sports, ITF, ITIA, etc.).
- Represent the FFT at technical meetings, working groups, and conferences related to sports integrity.
Profile Requirements
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Sports Law or Criminal Law.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
Required Skills
- Expertise in sports law and sports integrity regulations.
- Familiarity with disciplinary, administrative, and legal procedures.
- Knowledge of tennis ecosystems is an asset.
- Proven abilities in team management, performance monitoring, strategy deployment, and change management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
