Main goal

The Women’s Professional Football Manager is a key player in driving the professionalisation of women’s football across Europe. This football enthusiast will work directly with UEFA stakeholders to provide top-class support and insight, while proposing new initiatives to meet European-wide strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a deep understanding of professional football matters and an overview of regulations, as well as following current market trends that may have an impact on the football industry and its structures (across men’s and women’s football)
  • Proposing new initiatives deemed central to UEFA's objectives of driving the professionalisation of women’s club football
  • Liaising with and supporting stakeholders while building and managing effective relationships
  • Using financial knowledge to conduct and support financial analysis and overviews
  • Working autonomously to manage data, maintain overviews, write reports and conduct research and analysis, including scenario modelling
  • Managing special projects and supporting senior management as requested


Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 5 years' working with football organisations (leagues and clubs) and seeing how they operate
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role at international level, including advisory roles in sports organisations


Education:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Additional studies in football administration, finance or law


Languages:

  • English: Proficient


Other requirements:

  • Strong interest and understanding in football
  • Ability to collate information and create a coherent overview
  • Excellent knowledge of sports organisations and how they operate
  • Good at working with people and building relationships
