(Junior) Manager Business Intelligence (f/m/d)
Full-time I Part-time I Job-sharing
to support the development and operational implementation of our data-driven consulting business. Business intelligence, with market, media, and research data, provides the basis for sound decisions in sports marketing. Until now, we primarily supported our internal sales teams – now we are significantly expanding our consulting services for external clients (national and international brands and rights holders).
YOUR TASKS AT A GLANCE
- You implement data-based consulting projects for our clients – including brands, clubs and associations
- You analyze and visualize market and media data, derive concrete recommendations for action and present them convincingly
- For rights holders, you develop concepts to increase sponsorship revenues, for brands you analyze existing commitments or develop new sponsorship strategies
- You will actively contribute to the expansion of our consulting business – e.g., through the development of standardized products, the creation of case studies, or through sales activities together with our sales teams
THIS IS YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed a degree in sports management, economics or similar
- You have some previous experience in the sports business, ideally in data-based consulting for brands and rights holders on marketing-related topics. Alternatively, you have previous experience in management consulting, with a focus on marketing, sales, or growth strategies.
- You have a strong analytical understanding, work confidently with Excel and PowerPoint and can present complex content in an understandable and visually convincing manner
- You have a good understanding of KPIs and data models and ideally some experience with common BI and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- You have a good sense of design and initial experience in the aesthetic preparation of data and analyses – ideally complemented by knowledge of common presentation and design tools (e.g. Google Slides, Photoshop)
- You communicate confidently in German and English, including in presentations and in exchanges with international customers and colleagues
