THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Being a FIFA Ambassador on technical development for our Member Associations (MA).
- Manage relationships with assigned Caribbean Member Associations (number to be determined).
- Regular and constant contact with the Technical Directors of the member associations in the Caribbean.
- Being aware of all programmes and services provided by the Global Football Development division (GFD).
- Act as the first point of contact for the MA for all technical development matters. Support the elaboration and follow-up of technical development plans and strategies with the MA.
- Execute the Amateur Football Environment Analysis, with presentation and follow-up of country reports in the Caribbean.
- Assistance with the implementation of the Talent Development Scheme in the member associations of the Caribbean and close cooperation with the High-Performance Specialists in the Caribbean.
- Induction visits for new Technical Directors.
- Assistance in the setting-up of the structure of the technical department of a federation.
- Assistance in the recruitment of technical leaders (i.e. Technical Directors) in the federations (if requested by the MA).
- Planning, executing, and reporting of online calls and onsite visits referring to the different FIFA programmes.
- Coordinate project management activities, including workshops, site inspections, and meetings with relevant parties.
- Any other duties as advised by the Football Development Operations department and Global Football Development Division.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
Broad knowledge of football development in the Caribbean, Familiar with FIFA's and Concacaf's development programmes.
- Experience in the technical development of football.
- Experience as a Technical Director of a federation, career as a player, qualified coach or coach instructor, are a plus.
- Strong team player with excellent social, communication, and diplomatic skills.
- Highly organized with a focus on quality and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prepare, handle and monitor projects.
- Ability to represent the organization confidently in multicultural settings.
- Quick to adapt to new tasks with high flexibility.
- A sports leadership qualification is a plus.
- A coaching qualification is a plus
- Has a good understanding of the global football landscape of MAs, confederations, clubs, leagues, and other stakeholders, including cultural differences.
- Has experience and understanding how football/sports organisations are run and organised and more specifically on the technical development side.
- Has experience in delivering and organising consultancy activities - preferably in a sports environment.
- Fluency in oral and written English, any other languages (e.g Spanish) are a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to travel.
