The Red Star FC, a professional football club competing in Ligue 2 BKT, is seeking a General Accountant / Payroll Manager to support both the SASP (Professional Sports Company) and the Association.

Role

Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Manager, you will oversee and manage all accounting entries, prepare and supervise tax declarations, handle sales administration, manage expense reports, monitor cash flow, process monthly payrolls and social declarations, manage employee entries and exits, and oversee the tracking of sick leave compensation, among other responsibilities.

Missions & Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Supervise and support a junior accounting assistant.

Accounting (Suppliers, Customers, and General)

  • Oversee the entry of accounting transactions.
  • Reconcile and justify account balances.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Manage expense reports and prepare the annual financial statements.

Sales Administration

  • Issue invoices using the Sellsy software.
  • Manage revenue flows from the club’s boutique sales during matches.
  • Manually record match-day revenues.
  • Monitor payments and follow up on unpaid invoices.
  • Handle administrative processes for access and licensing.

Taxation

  • Supervise and prepare all tax declarations.

Cash Flow Management

  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare payments for validation by management.

Human Resources and Payroll

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee HR administration for employees (training, interns, health insurance, occupational medicine, leave, etc.).
  • Track and control sick leave compensation, particularly for player injuries.
  • Process all payrolls for the SASP and the Association.
  • Prepare social declarations and liaise with various social security bodies.
  • Manage paid leave tracking.

These responsibilities, which are non-exhaustive, will be carried out in an ambitious context focused on performance and service structuring.

Profile Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management (or equivalent, Bac +3).
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in payroll management.

Software Proficiency

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Availability on home match days is required (potentially on weekends).
