As a Development Manager (DM) for the FC Content Production team, reporting to a Development Director, you will help manage a team of Content Producers to deliver high-quality content for the latest and live EA SPORTS FC game. You will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering a collaborative and creative environment.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage a development team that primarily consists of Content Producers.
  • Host daily stand-up meetings and ensure the team is following procedures for work prioritization.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of content production campaigns.
  • Manage sprint planning, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with Production Leads.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and partners, including design, engineering, and QV.
  • Support capacity planning, identifying and communicating any resource constraints or challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including delivery of regular status updates.
  • Anticipate risks, mitigate blockers and provide management escalation where needed.
  • Identify team challenges and implement agile methodologies to optimize workflows and productivity.

Your Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Project Management or Project Lead experience with production lifecycles, processes and project planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in any number of related fields including Computer Science, Game Development, Business, 3D Arts.
  • Experience in a Scrum / Agile software development environment (Jira, Slack, Excel, Google Sheets, and Miro), plus software or tooling automation experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience working with expansive teams, mediation and conflict resolution.
  • Comfortable public speaking, talking through solutions and distilling information.
  • Experience with formal communications, publishing reports or partner facing documentation is highly recommended.
