The 2nd edition of the iWorkinSport Education Virtual Expo happened online, from the 10th to the 12th November, and allowed over 1,400 prospective students to connect and interact 15 of the best sports management courses in the world, giving them the chance to speak to representatives and alumni.
Tristan Norbert, Graduate Recruiter - Sports Product Management at the University of Oregon, commented: “It’s been a terrific even. I really like this interface”. Clint Godfrey, Senior Lecturer of Sports Management and Leadership at the University of Central Lancashire, agrees. “I have really enjoyed being part of this”, he said.
Dr. Heather Dichter, Associate Professor, Programme Leader, Business Management in Sport MSc at De Montfort Uuniversity, who has also participated in the first edition, said: "The iWorkinSport team organizes a great event, building virtual booths that rival any in-person event. Their global reach brought a wonderfully diverse group of potential students to the event, and we look forward to having some of the individuals with whom we spoke at the event join De Montfort University’s Business Management in Sport MSc course!”
Calebe de Souza, from ESBS, who also attended for a second time noted a big improvement from the first edition, in 2019: “Last year the event was already very good – we met some of our current students here – but I feel that the quantity and quality of candidates really improved this year”.
