Sponsorship in Marketing. LIVE Interview feat. T. Bettina Cornwell

Join us on Tuesday, October 28th at 6pm (CET) for a brand-new episode of the iWorkinSport LIVE Interview series.

In this episode we will talk with T. Bettina Cornwell, Professor of Marketing at the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon and author of the book Sponsorship in Marketing: Effective Partnerships in Sports, Arts and Events (#ad).

An academic expert in advertising and marketing, T. Bettina Cornwell is head of the Department of Marketing, and academic director of the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business. She was also named Philip H. Knight Chair, one of the university's highest faculty honours. Prior to joining the University of Oregon, she was Professor of Marketing and Sport Management at the University of Michigan.

Her primary research interest is in difficult and high context communications where many things are left unsaid and meaning is derived from actors, symbols, logos, and the social milieu. This is found in indirect marketing, such as sponsorship, celebrity endorsement and brand placement.

Bettina’s articles have been published in a variety of academic journals and her opinions have been featured in major news outlets such as CNN, Forbes and Sports Illustrated.

If you are interested in the topic of sponsorship, don’t miss this episode with one of the most acclaimed academics in the matter.
