The third edition of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which took place at the SwissTech Convention Center, in Lausanne, last Friday, 24 May, brought together, once again, some of the most important sports organisations in the world to meet and interview candidates who dream with a career in sport.
iWorkinSport is the first truly international career fair dedicated to the sports industry. It enables some of the most renowned organisations to meet, interview and recruit students and alumni from the most prestigious sport management courses in the world.
Recruiters from 20 companies interviewed candidates at the job fair. They were: CAA Eleven, CAF (the African Football Confederation), Endeavor, Eurovision Sport, FEI, FIBA, FIFA, FITEQ, Genius Sports, Global Sports Week, IMG, Juventus FC, Legacy Sport, Outdooria, Penceo, SportWorks, TEAM Marketing, Teqball, UEFA and the World Football Summit. CAF was the first organisation ever to travel from outside Europe in order to recruit at the fair.
This year’s Academic Partners were: AISTS, CIES (FIFA Master), Columbia University, Coventry University, Cruyff Institute, ESADE, ESBS, EU Business School, IFBI, IMD, London Business School, SDA Bocconi, The Football Business Academy and the University of Liverpool.
In addition to bringing together candidates and recruiters, iWorkinSport also offered a top-quality conference programme, in which some of the professionals recruiting at the fair shared their knowledge in order to help candidates achieve their goals. To close the conference in the best possible way, FIFA Director of Member Associations, Americas, Jair Bertoni, gave a powerful and inspiring keynote speech.
