Top 20 Sports Leagues - The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2024

Up next in our announcements of the Most Attractive Employers in Sports 2024: Sports Leagues

This year’s Top 20 list includes leagues from eight different sports. Football appears with nine different leagues, including some of the most popular like the Bundesliga from Germany, the Premier League from England, LaLiga from Spain and Ligue 1 from France. Worth noting is the NWSL, the National Women’s Soccer League from the United States, currently experiencing massive growth in popularity, accounts for one of the nine football leagues. Basketball leagues take four spots in the Top 20 with the Euroleague, NBA, WNBA and the Basketball Champions League. Both the men’s and women’s tennis leagues  - the ATP and the WTA - also appear in the Top 20. Check out the full Top 20 list below.

The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”

At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.

The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.
