In a follow-up to our initial announcement for the Top 20 Football Clubs from this year’s Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2024 Survey, today we bring to you the Top 20 Sports Teams.
Formula 1, with its ever-increasing international appeal and growth, has a heavy presence on the list with nine teams making the Top 20. Category-adjacent teams from MotoGP appear two times. With F1 owner Liberty Media recently acquiring MotoGP, it will not be a surprise to see continued growth and popularity of MotoGP in the future. Formula E also landed one team in the Top 20. Three Spanish and one Italian basketball teams made the list while Cricket’s Mumbai Indians, PSG Esports and two cycling teams - Ineos Grenadiers and Team Jumbo Visma - round out the Top 20.
The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”
At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.
The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.

The survey was conducted from 16 January to 17 March 2023 and counted 1,619 respondents, from 101 nationalities, living in 83 countries, with 84% having at least a bachelor degree and 52% with postgraduate education, while 87% already work in sport. Detailed demographics data will be available in the report.
