We are pleased to announce that Brad Ross, Global VP of Sports and Entertainment Marketing for the Coca-Cola Company, will join the iWorkinSport LIVE interview series airing on Thursday, July 13th at 7PM CEST.
In this role, Brad and his team leads all aspects of marketing and partnerships across a diverse range of passion points including sports, music, gaming, influencers and emerging new platforms. Tapping into consumer passions and working with a range of global partners including FIFA, IOC, Special Olympics, Formula 1, McLaren, UMG and Riot games are some of the key areas of focus for the team and company in this space.
As a proud South African, Brad had early formative memories of how sport and music can unite and be a force or good. As the brand manager for Coca-Cola in 2010, Brad had the unique privilege to work on the FIFA World Cup in his home country, and that is where his career in sports & entertainment marketing really began. Over the years, Brad has had the opportunity to work on multiple global sports & entertainment campaigns including five FIFA World Cups, two UEFA Euros, two Olympics & Paralympics, and two Special Olympics world games amongst others. Brad has also worked on global and regional entertainment marketing assets in the gaming and music space working closely with festival promoters, artists, labels, influencers and publishers alike. Brad also led the Marketing, Customer and Commercial functions for Coca-Cola’s West Africa Business Unit which was Based out of Lagos, Nigeria and oversaw 33 countries across Africa. Before joining Coke in 2007, Brad worked on the agency side and also spent two years with Google in their global business team from 2019 - 2021 before returning back to Coke. Brad was also named in Ad Age’s 40 under 40 in 2019.
With a focus on maximizing the value of sports and entertainment partnerships, Ross has consistently demonstrated his expertise in brand strategy, integrated marketing communications, and commercial excellence. His vast experience in global marketing and his ability to leverage the power of sports and entertainment make him a valuable asset in driving brand growth and engagement.
