Join us this Thursday, April 14th at 6pm CEST, for another episode of the iWorkinSport LIVE Interview. In this episode we will talk to Diogo Jurema, who’s responsible for the Member Federations relationships within World Athletics.
Diogo defines himself as a natural SDG multiplier and integrator at heart. With over 15 years working in sports, he has proven experience in managing member associations and confederations. A few years before working for the global governing body for athletics, Diogo served as Head of the Development Department at the International Volleyball Federation.
In the time between the two roles with the international federations, he carried a number of consulting projects introducing innovative programs and managing strategic projects and cross-functional working groups, including spending a few months volunteering, with his family, with an NGO who supports poor communities in Colombia.
Diogo is also the co-founder of SCORE (https://score-sport.com/), a sports think-tank based in Lausanne, and is a Board member of two NGOs – Grupo Internacional de Paz (in Colombia) and Generation Games (based in Lausanne).
Brazilian-born, Diogo is an alumnus of the AISTS and is a great example of a foreigner who came to establish a successful career in sports in Europe.
